How to get here:


From Pisa airport (approximately 60 km):

Take the FI-PI-LI "main connecting road" toward Florence to the "Pontedera - Ponsacco" exit and follow the signs for Volterra. Nearing "Molino d'Era" (10 Km from Volterra) continue toward hill Val d'Elsa (keep to the main road: SS. 439) and cross the Era River.
At Km. 11, take the private road on the left (paved surface).

From Bologna, Florence and Siena:

Exit Florence-Certosa (for those coming from Bologna) From the connecting highway between Florence-Siena (4 lanes) exit at Colle Val d'Elsa-Volterra; follow signs to Volterra (SS. 68) At approximately 2 Km from Volterra (just after the sign for Mazzolla on the left) turn right toward Pisa-Pontedera.
Keep to the main road (SS.439) for approximately 5 Km. Cross the artisan's zone (on the right) and the Era River.
At the sign for Km. 11, follow the private road on the right (paved surface).
